INSTRUCTIONS
- Pressure cook jackfruit pieces with 1/2 tsp salt and 4 tbsp water for one whistle.
- Let the pressure eases itself.
- Strain the pieces and let it sit for 10 minutes or till they completely dry.
- Spread it on a plate.
- Sprinkle cornflour, rice flour, pinch of salt, little soya sauce and chilli powder and mix well with hand.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non stick pan, when oil is hot, throw half of the jackfruit pieces into the pan.
- When one side turn brown , toss the pieces and wait till other side turns brown.
- Toss again and cook for few minutes more. Cook till all the sides turn brown in colour.
- Repeat the same step with remaining jackfruit pieces.
- Remove and set aside.
- Heat a tbsp of oil and add chopped ginger , garlic and green chilli .
- As soon as they turn brown add onion , capsicum and pinch of salt.
- Fry for a minute ,when onion become translucent, add jackfruit pieces.
- Give a nice mix.
- Finally add all the sauces along with salt and toss in high flame for 1-2 minute.
- Sprinkle pepper powder, little sugar , mix well.
- check the seasoning and throw little spring onion, mix and switch off the flame.
- serve hot.
